With over 15 years of hands-on experience in surgical nursing, Elaina is a seasoned Surgical Nurse Leader known for clinical excellence, team leadership, and a steadfast commitment to patient safety. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in managing complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, interventional pain, ENT, dental, urology and minimally invasive surgeries.

Adept at leading high-performing perioperative teams, Elaina has built a reputation for fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. She is highly skilled in operating room management, surgical workflow optimization, sterile processing oversight, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Holding certifications such as CNOR, CSCT and CHCM, Elaina has also been instrumental in mentoring new surgical nurses, enhancing staff education, and driving quality initiatives that align with facility goals and accreditation standards.

Currently serving as the Administrator of Advanced Surgical Institute of New Albany, Elaina remains passionate about elevating surgical care standards and leading by example in one of the most critical environments in healthcare.
